Looking for a unique birthday celebration that's creative, hands-on and a little different?

Treat your child and their friends to a fun felting experience where everyone creates their own beautiful handmade keepsake to take home. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are included.

Perfect for girls and boys ages 8+.

Choose Your Party Project     

Birthday guests can choose one of the following creative projects:

🌸 Wool Painting (Wet Felting)

 

Create unique artwork using soft merino wool, natural olive-oil Marseille soap, warm water, and bubble wrap. A fun sensory experience that's always a favourite.

🧵 2D Needle Felting

Create a beautiful wool picture using special felting needles. A calm and creative project suitable for children (finger protectors provided).

🦊 Pocket Animals Create an adorable little felted animal to take home—a favourite with both girls and boys (great for teens or adults)

🧼 Woolly Soaps Wrap a natural soap in soft merino wool to create a colourful, exfoliating felted soap that's both beautiful and practical.

🌺 Felt FlowersCreate beautiful flowers that can be finished as hair clips or hair ties to take home.

🪴 Felted Vase or Plant Pot Create a small vase or plant pot using colourful wool and natural fibres to create a unique handmade keepsake.

👜 Small Felted Pouch

Create a practical little pouch using the wet felting resist technique – perfect for treasures, jewellery, earphones or other small keepsakes.

More project options are available on request.

Projects can be tailored to suit the age and interests of the group.

Food & Drinks

You're welcome to bring your own birthday cake, small snacks and drinks.

To keep little creators energised, I'll provide a small selection of healthy snacks during the workshop, such as fresh fruit, vegetable sticks or popcorn (selection may vary).

After the creative session, there'll be time to enjoy birthday cake and celebrate together.

Pricing

NZ$55 per paying guest

🎉 Birthday child joins FREE (my gift!)

Minimum booking: 5 paying guests.

Suitable for a maximum of 10 participants in my cosy Browns Bay studio.

For larger groups, I'd be happy to organise a bigger venue or bring the workshop to your chosen venue (fees may apply).

After confirming your booking, you'll receive a link to a simple online registration form for each guest. This helps me prepare for the workshop and ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
