You can wash the shawl by hand in warm water and iron (set to silk).

The pattern is laid on the natural silk using different colours of merino wool, the whole is a long-term rubbed in water so long until merino wool fibres pass through the silk and join together. Combination of wool and silk is very durable and plastic. The felted silk scarf is always created in a unique piece.
