Selected for the 12th Hibiscus & Bays Art Awards 2026

I am delighted to share that my textile artwork, "Waterfall Beyond the Frame", was selected for the 12th Hibiscus & Bays Art Awards 2026, hosted by Mairangi Arts Centre.

This annual national exhibition celebrates artistic excellence across a wide range of creative disciplines and brings together talented artists from throughout New Zealand.

My artwork combines merino wool and silk to capture the movement and atmosphere of a waterfall, while inviting the viewer to look beyond the traditional boundaries of a framed piece. Creating texture, depth, and a sense of immersion is at the heart of my fibre art practice.

It was a wonderful honour to have my work included in this exhibition and displayed alongside so many inspiring artists.
