Honoured to Exhibit at the 53rd Riversdale Arts Mixed Media Exhibition

I am delighted and deeply honoured to have been invited to exhibit several of my textile artworks at the 53rd Riversdale Arts Mixed Media Exhibition in Southland.

As an artist who began her creative journey in Poland and now creates in New Zealand, opportunities like this feel incredibly special. Being invited to exhibit alongside artists from across the country is both a privilege and a wonderful recognition of my work with wool and silk.

This respected annual exhibition brings together invited artists from throughout New Zealand, showcasing a diverse range of contemporary and traditional art forms. The 2026 exhibition theme, "Entwined Interconnection", celebrates the relationships between rural and urban life, creativity, community, and the landscapes that shape and inspire us.

The exhibition opens with a Gala Evening on 19 June, featuring award presentations, the opportunity to meet the artists, and a first viewing of the exhibition before it opens to the public.

For this exhibition, I will be presenting a selection of my wool and silk artworks inspired by the beauty of Aotearoa New Zealand. The theme of connection resonates deeply with my own creative practice, where natural fibres, texture, colour, and landscape intertwine to tell stories of place and belonging.

I am grateful to Riversdale Arts for the invitation and excited to share my work with visitors from across the region. It is always inspiring to be part of an exhibition that celebrates artistic excellence, community, and the many ways we are connected through creativity.

If you are travelling through Southland between 20–27 June, I would love for you to visit this remarkable exhibition and experience the incredible variety of artworks on display.
