Create Your Own Luxury Wool Covered Soaps

Join me for a relaxed, hands-on workshop and create your own set of three wool-covered soaps using fine merino wool and traditional wet felting techniques.

You’ll choose from a selection of colours and beautifully scented soaps, then learn how to wrap, decorate and felt each piece by hand. Every soap will be different, giving you a lovely set to use at home or give as handmade gifts.

What You Will Learn

  • How to cover soap with merino wool

  • Basic wet felting techniques

  • Colour blending and decorative design

  • How to create texture and surface details

  • Finishing techniques for a neat, long-lasting result

No previous felting experience is needed. I’ll guide you through the process step by step, with plenty of room to experiment with your own colours and designs.

You Will Make

Three handmade wool-covered soaps

Choose your own colour combinations, scented soaps and decorative details to create a set that is completely individual.

Why Wool-Covered Soap?

The soft felted wool creates a naturally exfoliating surface and makes the soap comfortable and easy to hold. As you use it, the wool continues to felt and shrink around the soap.

They are practical, beautiful in the bathroom and make thoughtful handmade gifts.

All Materials Included

Everything you need is provided:

  • Scented soaps

  • Merino wool in a variety of colours

  • Decorative fibres

  • Use of all tools and equipment

A Relaxed Creative Afternoon

The workshop takes approximately 3 hours 

Tea, coffee, homemade cake and refreshments are included, so you can simply come along, enjoy the creative process and take your finished pieces home with you.
